NEWS ROUNDUP: Flower & Garden Preview – New Star Wars Land Food, Details, Photos – Cruise Line News – Tours – More

As we head into March, signs of spring at Disney World are everywhere. We’re enjoying warmer weather, and the crowds are getting heavier. One of the biggest signs of spring is the opening of the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. We got a special preview of the festival this week, and it’s going to be amazing. We also enjoyed a fantastic Italian Mardi Gras celebration at Maria and Enzo’s Ristorante at Disney Springs. 1 – New Details and Photos Released for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

2 – Celebrate Mardi Gras the Italian Way

3 – Flower and Garden Festival is Coming!

It’s no secret that springtime in Central Florida is a beautiful time of year and Epcot is the place you want to be! This year, the Flower and Garden Festival will be returning to Epcot for its 26th installment, and we got a unique opportunity to get a preview of the festival this week. We got a look at some of the amazing flower displays, heard some great music, tasted delicious food and drink, and so much more! 4 – Star Wars Guided Tour

5 – Disney Cruise Line Announces Summer 2020 Itineraries

It’s never too early to choose your next Disney Cruise Line itinerary and now is the perfect time to get out your calendars and plan for summer 2020. How about Europe? Disney has announced a long-awaited return to Greece and the addition of five first-time ports of call in Europe. 6 – Bibbi Bobbi Boutique is Expanding at Walt Disney World Resort

Great news for anyone who wants to become a Disney princess! The Bibbidi Bobbi Boutique is a very popular experience for kids who want to transform into their favorite princess! Now, with the opening of a new location that just became easier! Disney Cast Member Jennifer Fickley-Baker has all the details below.

We have exciting news to share today with all of you fans of Disney royalty!

A new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique location is set to open at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa this summer in order to provide more royal transformations than ever before. The new boutique – the third of its kind at Walt Disney World – will be located inside what’s currently the Ivy Trellis Salon, which will relocate into Senses – A Disney Spa.

Also based on the popularity of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park, work will begin this spring to expand the location, adding more chairs, a very special magic mirror, and a transformation experience that will help guests choose the perfect outfits and accessories. The Magic Kingdom Park location will remain open during these enhancements, and existing reservations will not be affected.

In case you aren’t familiar, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique locations currently exist at Magic Kingdom Park and Disney Springs and pair up young guests age 3-12 with Fairy Godmothers-in-Training, who give them magical makeovers beyond their wildest Disney dreams, turning them into princesses or gallant knights. A variety of royal transformations are available and may include hairstyling, nail polish, accessories, gowns and more, depending on the package guests choose. 7 – The Beauty of Bollywood is now at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

This week, a brand-new Indian dance experience was announced at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on March 3rd! Cast Member Shawn Slater has all the details below.

Clap your hands, stomp your feet, and get ready to dance. There’s something new at Disney’s Animal Kingdom starting this Sunday, March 3! Bollywood Beats, an exhilarating Indian dance experience, is a wildly energetic show that brings traditional Indian dance together with the fire of Hindi film. From classical Indian rhythms of Kathak to the proud folk style of Bhangra to modern Bollywood popular dance, the performers of Bollywood Beats have something for every dance lover to enjoy in this spirited interactive performance. Bollywood Beats will be presented several times daily at the stage across from the Anandapur Theater in Asia.

8 – Sneak Peek of Disney’s “Dumbo”

With the new live-action movie “Dumbo” coming to theaters March 29, Disney is now showing sneak peeks of the movie. Cast Member Shawn Slater has all the details below.

For a limited time starting this weekend, a sneak peek of Disney’s all-new grand live-action adventure “Dumbo” can be seen aboard the ships of the Disney Cruise Line fleet, as part of the Walt Disney Presents attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and in the Main Street Opera House at Disneyland park. Each theme park location will also feature a life-size replica of Dumbo, which should make for some really cute photos. Be sure to share them with #Dumbo!
