Summer is just a few months away and Walt Disney World is offering fantastic deals for guests to take advantage of for savings on their vacations this summer! Special discounted tickets are available, along with discounts on Disney resort room, and finally, a amazing FREE dining offer. Learn all the details below!

Summer is almost here, and there’s nothing like a visit to Walt Disney World Resort when the kids are out of school! And this summer will be extra fun, with special deals, two new shows, a new nighttime parade and limited-time activities and entertainment created for families with kids.

Here’s why summer 2025 is the perfect time for your family to visit and experience more magical moments you can find only at Disney World.

Save with Disney World Ticket, Dining & Hotel Deals  

Of the four seasons, summer includes our lowest-priced dates, and your family can save with special deals available for booking starting March 27:

• • • 50% Off on Kids Tickets: You can purchase a 3-day or longer kids (ages 3-9) standard ticket for 50% off. This deal is available for visits beginning May 27 through September 20, 2025.
    • 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket: Get a 3-day, 3-park ticket starting at $89 per day ($267 total, plus tax) for visits starting on April 6 through September 22, 2025. This ticket is for admission to EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom (one theme park per day, not valid for admission to Magic Kingdom).
    • Free Dining Plan Deal Returns: Back by popular demand, you can get a free dining plan with the purchase of a non-discounted 4-night, 4-day (or longer) package that includes a room at select Disney Resort hotels and a ticket with a Park Hopper option. This offer is for visits on select dates from June 29 through December 22, 2025.
    • Disney Resort Room Deals: Save up to 30% on select Disney Resort hotel rooms when you stay longer for visits beginning August 1 through October 11, 2025. Special deals on rooms are also available for Florida Residents and Annual Passholders.

Summertime really is one of the most exciting times to visit Disney World.  It may be in the heat of summer and draw in some crowds, but it is still an amazing time to visit with your family and enjoy everything that Disney has to offer!  Here are five reasons why we love to visit Disney World in the summer.

5 – Kids are on vacation, so no missed school (while still learning).

Parents are always concerned about pulling their kids out of school mid-year and what impacts that will have at the school and their grades.  Well, this makes visiting in the summer absolutely perfect since the kids are already on break.  No messing with the school and catching up on homework, plus they still get a vacation that can be extremely educational.  Many of the attractions have educational components in the areas of history, science, media, etc.  For our young kids, we even work on reading and word recognition everywhere we go so that they are practicing reading the entire time.  They are learning and don’t even realize it because it’s so much fun!

4 – The parks are open later.

This is definitely a great benefit. In the past, the normal hours for the Magic Kingdom is usually 11 pm or midnight during the summer months.  This gives even more time to enjoy the parks without being out in the sun the entire time, so you get more bang for your buck on park admission.  During fall/winter months, these hours are much shorter, closing as early as 7-9 pm on most nights.  You get a lot more out of your days!

3 – Shows are shown more frequently.

In the summer months, many shows, including evening shows, are shown more frequently.  This is partly due to the longer park hours since there is more availability in the day for the volume of shows to increase.  This is also due to the popularity of the shows, especially the evening shows, so more guests can experience all the parks offer and not miss out on any of the attractions.

2 – The water parks are at their best.

Disney water parks are so much fun!  They are some of the best-themed water parks you will ever visit, with awesome, thrilling attractions to enjoy.  You can ride a water coaster, enjoy a float down a lazy river, ride the tallest water slide in the world (with no raft), and so much more!  They are perfect for beating the Florida heat while enjoying the sun.  Since 2021, only one water park has been open in the summer: Typhoon Lagoon. We’re hoping the days of both water parks being open in the summer will return!

1 – The pools at the resorts are amazing.

We can’t forget the amazing pools and all the fun activities.  During the heat of the day, you can come back to your resort and swim in an amazing pool!  Many of them even have water slides and water playground features that make the pool areas almost like a mini water park right at your resort.  Playing in the Florida sun feels like the ultimate vacation and is a great way to relax in between the excitement of the theme parks.  It rounds out the perfect summer vacation!
