This summer, Walt Disney World is offering new attractions and limited-time entertainment that will create magical moments and treasured memories with loved ones. Keep reading to discover the six new offerings and reasons to visit in the summer of 2024.

1 – “Drop on in” to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom Park

Opening June 28 at Magic Kingdom Park, guests are invited to “drop on in” to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, a new family thrill ride featuring the joy, music, and magic of the Walt Disney Animation Studios film “The Princess and the Frog.” Guests will take a trip down the bayou in this exciting flume-drop water ride for a glimpse of life after Tiana and Naveen’s happily ever after. It’s a joyful adventure as guests join Princess Tiana and Louis in a search for a band to create the perfect neighborhood soiree. Guests of all ages will be delighted by the scenery and dozens of innovative Audio-Animatronics figures of their favorite characters, including Tiana, Louis, Mama Odie, and more. 2 – Celebrating the EPCOT Transformation Finale

The walls are down! Guests can now enjoy all new areas of EPCOT as the multi-year transformation of the park is complete! Here are the newest offerings at EPCOT:

CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza transform the guest experience and open up the magic of possibilities. This summer, guests can dance and sing along to the música of the Disney Animation Studios film “Encanto.” “¡Celebración Encanto!” is a limited-time show that celebrates culture, magic and family, or as the Family Madrigal would say, “cultura, magia y familia.” This is the first show to debut on the newly completed CommuniCore Plaza Stage. It’s full of lively music, laughter and dancing during a sing-along that’s sure to get the whole familia on their feet. Guests may even see Mirabel and Bruno joining in the fun.

Right next to CommuniCore Plaza Stage, a new quick-service food-and-beverage destination called “Festival Favorites” is now open. Here, guests can find a rotating menu of some of the most popular items from the four seasonal EPCOT festivals. At launch, guests will find dishes inspired by Disney Animations’ “Encanto.”

Inside CommuniCore Hall, guests can say hello to Mickey Mouse and his pals in an all-new character greeting location called Mickey & Friends. This new space features colorful artwork and a mural inspired by EPCOT’s past and present. Created by Walt Disney Imagineers, it follows the 2021 debut of another dramatic character mural that can be found in Creations Shop at World Celebration. Both murals continue the park’s legacy of powerful art, such as the stunning scenes of communication history leading into Spaceship Earth and the colorful mosaic at the entrance to The Land pavilion.

These new spaces in World Celebration offer guests a place to relax and recharge while enjoying delicious food and beverage items that will change with the seasons. Here, the possibilities are endless – offering flexible, ever-changing gathering and event space for guests to enjoy a wide variety of dynamic experiences throughout the year – from art exhibitions and live entertainment to cooking demonstrations and more.

3 – Country Bear Musical Jamboree Debuts on July 17

At Magic Kingdom Park, Grizzly Hall’s magic will sparkle once again when the reimagined Country Bear Musical Jamboree takes to the stage beginning July 17. The fan-favorite band of bears will return to the spotlight with the star quality and big personalities that have had fans stompin’ and singin’ along for more than 50 years. The new show will feature fresh twangin’ interpretations of treasured Disney songs in different genres of country music, including bluegrass, pop-country, Americana, rockabilly, and more.

Paying homage to the musical revues of Nashville, Walt Disney Imagineering worked with some of the best in country music, including country legend and 10-time Country Music Awards “Musician of the Year” Mac McAnally. For the voice of the beloved bear, Trixie St. Claire, country singer Emily Ann Roberts added her twangy vocals to “Try Everything” from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Zootopia.” Singer-songwriter Allison Russel and musician Chris Thile shared their talents for Wendell and Teddi Barra’s sweet rendition of “A Whole New World.” On top of debuting an all-new setlist, the bears will don some new threads worthy of the epic comeback they are making. This hoedown will leave guests hummin’ and twirlin’ their way through Frontierland all day long.
