This past week kicked off with the annual Halfway to Halloween where we got a look at upcoming offerings and merchandise for the Halloween season at Walt Disney World. Dates for the 2024 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party have been announced, new details on Halloween on the High Seas with Disney Cruise Line, a look at upcoming Halloween merchandise, and a look at the upcoming Haunted Mansion lounge coming to the Disney Treasure. 1 – Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Dates & New Offerings Revealed for 2024
This week Disney celebrated Halfway to Halloween, and one of the most anticipated news was learning the dates of the 2024 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This separately ticketed event is held on select nights at Magic Kingdom Park and offers guests the opportunity to engage in sensational spookiness and ghoulish good times that are perfect for kids of all ages. 2 – New Details Released on Haunted Mansion Bar
This week, Disney Cruise Line released new concept art and character details for the upcoming Haunted Mansion Parlor, which will be one of the fantastic, themed lounges on the Disney Treasure, which sets sail in December 2024. The space will resemble a ship parlor that once belonged to a sea captain and his strange fiancé. 3 – Name and New Details of New Addition at Polynesian Announced
This week Disney Vacation Club unveiled details for the Island Tower coming to Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows at Walt Disney World Resort. In keeping with the existing theme of the resort, the striking waterfront retreat will immerse guests in the charm of the South Pacific islands, the thrill of exploration, and the beauty of the natural world. 4 – New Details Released for Halloween on the High Seas with Disney Cruise Line
As part of the Halfway to Halloween celebration, Disney Cruise Line revealed new details about Halloween on the High Seas on Disney Cruise Line on select cruises! 6 – Rare Baby Addax is Mother’s Day Gift at Disney
This week, Disney celebrated the story of a very special, first-time mom. Juniper, a 2-year-old addax, recently gave birth to her very first calf, Julien, who will join the herd at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge soon! Mom Juniper’s story defies the odds. She was born in August 2021, and during the birth, her mother passed due to complications, leaving Juniper without a mom. Keepers and animal care experts quickly stepped in and showered her with care, and helped raise her. Now, just two years later, Juniper has given birth to her first calf. Both Juniper and Julien have been nursing, nuzzling, and bonding in a backstage area ahead of Julien’s debut on the savanna. Learn more about the new mom and baby addax at the link below.

7 – Suntory Morimoto Luau Returns to Morimoto Asia
On Sunday, May 19, Morimoto Asia is bringing back its annual Suntory Morimoto Luau, in partnership with Suntory, featuring a traditional Hawaiian-inspired feast and live entertainment. Paying homage to Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, the fabulous event includes hula dancers, food stations including a poki and sushi bar, Morimoto-style baby ribs, a whole roasted pig, an assortment of desserts and specialty cocktails. Guests can also opt to include select premium festive cocktail pairings from Suntory for an additional charge. Upon arrival, guests will receive a lei and be treated to vibrant themed decor during this beloved immersive dining experience, celebrating the spirit of Asian American Pacific Islander culture. Guests can choose from two times, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Reservations can be made HERE.
