7 Best Quick Eats at Disney World Resorts

There are so many great places to get a quick bite around Walt Disney World.  Many guests forget about the resorts, but that would definitely be a mistake since there are so many great dining options at each of them. There are too many great options to mention, but we wanted to call out seven of the best quick-eat options found at the Disney resorts. Take a look below.

7 – Cornbread Loaf – Trail’s End Restaurant, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground

You may be thinking, cornbread? Yes, Trail’s End Restaurant (now a quick-service) at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is one of the things we look forward to when visiting our favorite campground. The loaf is perfectly sized for a quick eat that’s filling and delicious! You can order it as a side on its own, or it also comes with select entrees and family meals! Don’t miss this one! We love it!

6 – Naan Pocket Chicken Club – Maji Pool Bar, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village

Enjoy this unique entree featuring House-made Naan “Pita” Pocket, Tandoori Chicken, Bacon, Lettuce, Roasted Tomatoes, and Chermoula Mayonnaise served with seasoned chips.  It is refreshing for a day at the pool and a perfect quick-eat option to tide you over until you have a larger meal.

5 – Loaded Potato Barrels – Martha’s Vineyard, Disney’s Beach Club Resort

Don’t miss the loaded potato barrels served with sour cream, cheese, green onion, and bacon. Delicious! Martha’s Vineyard is only open for the later in the day and is more of a lounge-type place, so you can snack on these with a delicious drink after a long day in the parks!

4 – Nachos – El Mercado de Coronado, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

Nachos are a guilty pleasure of mine, so I can’t resist them. I love that at this location, you can pick your own nacho toppings. You have a base of corn tortilla chips, then a choice of chicken or beef. You get them topped with cheese sauce and refried beans. Then you can pick from a variety of other toppings. It’s not the healthiest option in the world, but calories don’t count at Disney!

Mickey Beignets

3 – Beignets – Scat Cat’s Club – Cafe, Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Resort

You can’t visit this resort and not try the beignets. They are the perfect taste of New Orleans right within Walt Disney World. For an additional charge, you can also add dipping sauces, including caramel, raspberry, or chicory coffee ganache. Definitely get enough for the whole family as these will go quick!

2 – Honey Barbecued Pork Sandwich – Everything POP Shopping & Dining, Disney’s Pop Century Resort

If you’re looking for a tangy yet sweet barbecue sandwich, then be sure to try the Honey Barbecued Pork Sandwich at Everything POP Shopping & Dining. This sandwich is served with a zesty vegetable slaw on a toasted Brioche bun. There are a few other options and a variety of other grill items. You definitely won’t go hungry!

1 – Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwich – The Artist’s Palette, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

How about a unique ham and cheese sandwich? This comes with Black Forest Ham, smoked Gouda, Dijon mustard, herbed oil, and Quattro Formaggi spread on Ciabatta bread and served with house-made Saratoga Chips. It is rich and tasty, which makes it a perfect quick-eat option.

Kristin

Hi! I’m Kristin, and I am a wife and mother of 2 young boys (ages 5 and 2). I first fell in love with Disney when my mom took me when I was a child. After that I proceeded to go to WDW for my senior trip with my friends, and I completed a year in the Disney College Program (working in merchandise at Mickey’s of Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios). I shared my love of Disney with my now husband and sucked him in. We vacationed at Walt Disney World 2-3 times per year. We decided that what maked more sense was just moving to Orlando so that we could live the Disney life and be here for all of our favorite events and seasons every year. That is exactly what we did! Now we are at the parks a couple times a week and go for most events and major holidays. We can’t get enough and get to experience Disney in a whole different way.
