Dining on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser – What You Need to Know

A new vacation experience is coming to Walt Disney World and will immerse guests in a galaxy far, far away when Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser debuts on March 1, 2022. Vacation packages will include dining and we’ve got a new look at what guests can experience on the starcruiser. Learn more below.

1 – Dining is Included – Just Like on a Disney Cruise

The two-night vacation packages include food and beverages on the starcruiser (excluding alcoholic and specialty beverages) and a quick-service meal at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo or at other select locations at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Just like on a Disney Cruise you don’t need to worry about meals, which will help keep your experience more immersive.

2 – Crown of Corellia Dining Room

Dinner on both nights of your vacation will be at the Crown of Corellia Dining room, which according to Disney is “known throughout the galaxy for its first-class cuisine and unique live musical entertainment.” Each night during your stay will be a different experience. Here is what you can expect:

On the first night of your adventure, the Crown of Corellia Dining Room transforms for dinner into an enticing table-service supper club with a special musical appearance by a galactic superstar. You’ll enjoy a special evening with distinctive dining and entertainment as you socialize with passengers and crew.

The second night, The Taste Around the Galaxy showcases courses inspired by the geography and environments of iconic destination planets throughout the galaxy. With the serving of each course, a brief introduction presents the name, inspiration and ingredients for the dishes. The meal includes group appetizers for the table, a choice of entrée and a specialty plated dessert.

You can indicate your preference for first or second dinner seating (based on availability) when you book your vacation package.

Again we are reminded of a Disney Cruise vacation where you rotate to different dining experiences each night. While you’ll be eating in the same dining room each night, you will have different experiences. Sound fun and exciting!

3 – Breakfast and Lunch

Breakfast and lunch will also be available in the Crown of Corellia Dining Room. Menu items will feature different items from all over the galaxy as well as items guests will be familiar with from our home planet. Here is a look at what we can expect:

Start your day with a unique off-planet breakfast of hot and cold small plates and a variety of beverages including juices, fresh brewed coffee and Bubo Wamba Family Farms blue milk.

During lunch, choose from a collection of small bites, like sandwiches, soups, mini flatbreads, assorted salads and sweets.

4 – Sublight Lounge

The Sublight Lounge will be the place to be. The lounge is inspired by the starcruiser’s voyages throughout the galaxy. No menu has been released but we’re sure the drinks will be out of this world.

5 – Dining During Your Planet Excursion

Guests will also enjoy an off-ship excursion to the planet of Batuu, where guests will visit the Black Spire Outpost (Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios). While on Batuu guests can enjoy a quick-service meal at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo (or other locations at Disney’s Hollywood Studios).

6 – Captain’s Table

For the ultimate dining experience during your space voyage, consider dining at the Captain’s Table for an out-of-this-world dinner experience. For an additional fee, guests can enjoy extra courses while “seated in a prime location in the center of the Crown of Corellia Dining Room.”

Chad & Cindy Nykamp

After years of multiple Walt Disney World vacations, Cindy and Chad's dream of living in Orlando came true in 2010. After friends and family made them their go-to-people for Walt Disney World advice, Cindy and Chad launched DisneyLists.com in August 2015 to share their knowledge and love of Disney. Chad and Cindy have been Disney World Annual Passholders for years, DVC members, together have raced more than 70 runDisney races, and particularly love cruising on the Disney Cruise Line. Chad and Cindy also regularly represent DisneyLists.com at Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line media events. While attending these events, they get an insiders view of all the new things that have come to Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line. These experiences have helped them gain knowledge and expertise they happily pass on to their followers. They still can't believe how lucky they are to have such an amazing opportunity and will continue to share Disney with anyone who will listen!
