Established in 1988, Victoria and Albert’s Restaurant has been at full capacity nearly every night, serving dishes that are simply unmatched by restaurants not only in the state of Florida but nation-wide. Before you experience this one-of-a-kind restaurant, here are nine things you’ll want to know.

1 – Location and Ambiance Perfection

What better location for Victoria and Albert’s than in the heart of Disney World’s most admired Deluxe Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Go ahead and take in the stunning views of the Grand Floridan lobby and let the live orchestra or pianist music set the mood. As you are greeted at the entrance of Victoria and Albert’s, you’ll begin to understand very quickly the excellence of dining you are about to experience. Amidst the linen-draped tables, fresh flowers, candlelight glow, and gorgeous place settings, you’ll find a restaurant fit for royalty, which for the evening includes you.

 2 – Three Rooms – Three Experiences

Victoria and Albert’s Restaurant awaits your reservation with three pristine dining venues. The first option includes the Dining Room. With two seatings per night, you’ll be seated at a table in this main room with other guests at tables nearby. While the Dining Room isn’t the most intimate of choices at Victoria and Albert’s, it’s still paramount to other restaurants’ Dining Rooms. The second venue is Queen Victoria’s Room, which takes the dining experience one step further. Queen Victoria’s Room is a closed room that seats up to 8 guests and is perfect for an unimaginable special event or even an especially intimate dinner. The third selection is by far the most desired at Victoria and Albert’s. This venue is known as the Chef’s Table. You would think this 11-course meal is all about the dishes, but it’s also about the chance of having the Chef join in the conversation. Three different rooms and three outstanding experiences.

Does it surprise you to know that Victoria and Albert’s is a AAA Five Diamond Award receipt since 2000? It is also one of the only three restaurants in Florida to receive this award. The meticulous inspections of food quality and taste, plus the establishment and high degree of service, make it nearly impossible to obtain this award. Victoria and Albert’s has done it every year since 2000! If that’s not impressive enough, TripAdvisor ranks Victoria and Albert’s number two in fine dining restaurants in the United States. 4 – Reservations Required

If you haven’t already figured this out, making reservations for Victoria and Albert’s Restaurant is necessary and required. With a seating capacity of 48 guests and one-seating per night for select rooms, reservations go extremely fast. We’d recommend being in your My Disney Experience account 180-days in advance of your hopeful dining date, at 6:00 am in the morning when dining reservations open. 5 – Age Restrictions and Child Care Options

In 2008, Victoria and Albert’s Restaurant set rules in place that state guests must be 10 years of age or above. If you have a young child between the ages of 4-12 years of age that is unable to dine at Victoria and Albert’s due to their age or because you need an adult night out, may we suggest making a reservation for them at Pixar Play Zone located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort just across the water from Disney’s Grand Floridian. A simple Monorail ride away, your child can enjoy an evening of Pixar filled fun while you dine like royalty. If you have a child younger than 4-years-old, Disney recommends an independent childcare called Kid’s Nite Out for in-room babysitting available at Disney Resorts.

6 – Dress Code

With excellence all around you, it’s no surprise the Victoria and Albert’s has a dress code in place. For men, a dinner jacket is required along with a collared shirt, dress slacks, and dress shoes. Ties are optional. For ladies, “elegant evening attired” is required which can include a dress or a pants ensemble. No jeans, shorts, t-shirts, capris, flip-flops, sneakers or casual wear as allowed.

7 – Exquisite Cuisine

And now for the best part! The cuisine here is what everyone raves about and is undoubtedly the main reason for the numerous awards Victoria and Albert’s has received time and time again. The taste will exceed whatever you may be imagining from the first-course all the way through to dessert. The menu changes regularly depending on what fresh, seasonal food Victoria and Albert’s has to offer. The 7-course (Dining Room), 10-course (Queen Victoria’s Room), and 11-course (Chef’s Table) dishes include seasonal vegetables, lobster, tenderloin, duck, fish, beef, oysters, heavenly dessert and more. Everything on the plate is seasoned in a special, Chef selected way and plated to match the perfect taste.

8 – Wine and More

If you are a wine connoisseur, Victoria and Albert’s is calling your name. This fine-dining restaurant has over 700 world-class wines to select from and 4,200 bottles of wine in their cellar at all times. The Chef and Servers do an excellent job of helping you pair that ideal wine with each course. Wine Pairing is an additional fee which is listed below. Other beverages are available, including non-alcoholic beverages, if you prefer that route.

9 – The Price

The Disney Dining Plan is not accepted at Victoria and Albert’s Restaurant, so be prepared to pay a pretty penny. For the Dining Room 7-course experience, you can expect to pay around $185 per person with a $65 per person wine pairing option. For Queen Victoria’s Room 10-course experience, it will cost about $235 per person with a $105 per person wine pairing option. Finally, the Chef’s Table is a 3-hour service with the Prix Fixe, 11-course meal beginning at $250 per person with a $150 per person wine pairing option. These prices do not include tax or gratuity. Valet parking is available at no additional cost for guests dining at Victoria and Albert’s Restaurant.
