8 Things You Need to Know About Spice Road Table

Spice Road Table is a Mediterranean-inspired Tapas-style restaurant. The food is delicious, and there are tons of savory options that include the spices, seasonings, and ingredients typically found in that region. Everything about the location is fantastic, from the location the food, the drinks, the theme, and so much more. If you haven’t dined here, you need to try it on your next vacation. Here are eight things that you’ll want to know:

8 – The location.

This excellent restaurant is located in Epcot at the Morocco pavilion in the World Showcase. You will see it along the water right as you enter the pavilion. It isn’t difficult to find, and you’ll love the proximity to the water.

7 – The seating is an open-air environment.

Not only is the location right along the water overlooking the lagoon, but the restaurant is an open-air concept. The seating is completely covered to protect from the sun and weather. There are fans to help keep the air circulating and keep the area cool. It is a great place to still smell the fresh air and people watch while you enjoy a delicious meal. The views are amazing over the water, too!

6 – The location is open for lunch and dinner service.

The restaurant only serves the lunch and dinner service. There may not be any breakfast options, but the other services will definitely make up for it. We have skipped breakfast or had a very light breakfast before and hit Spice Road Table for lunch to get charged up for the rest of the day.

5 – The drinks are incredible.

The drink menu at the restaurant is huge. There is a wide variety of favorite beers and drinks. There is also a selection of Mediterranean beers that you won’t find anywhere else around Walt Disney World. There is also a huge mixed drink selection that includes classic Mediterranean flavors and juices. The Sangria is definitely a favorite for me. The Pomegranate Mimosa is also another delicious favorite, too!

4 – The menu is made up of a variety of small plates and entrée selections.

The restaurant is Tapas style with small plates that are meant for sharing. You can order a variety of plates and different dishes for the table so that you get to try several amazing dishes. I love this because I absolutely love to try new things and get to sample a variety of dishes. There are also a few entrée selections that are larger portions, but you can still definitely share those dishes, too.

3 – The restaurant is moderately priced for a table-service location.

It is widely known that Disney table service locations can vary in price. They are also usually on the higher end, especially compared to the quick service options that are also available. The pricing for Spice Road Table is higher than most quick-service restaurants but lower priced than most table-service restaurants. It is also a great value since it is a restaurant where you can share plates, which isn’t encouraged at most other Disney table service locations.

2 – Disney Dining plans are accepted.

If you are on a Disney Dining Plan, then you are in luck. It is accepted at this location. It was not accepted when the restaurant first opened, but they have since been added. If you are using the Disney Dining Plan, the location only costs one entitlement per person for the meal.

1 – It’s a fantastic place to view Epcot Fireworks.

The open-air seating right on the water offers terrific views of the rest of the World Showcase. Not only that, the restaurant offers impressive views of the nighttime fireworks show over the lagoon. You can dine, enjoy a delicious beverage, and have comfortable seating for the show. You’ll also hear the music and audio from the restaurant, so you get the complete experience of the show.

Kristin

Hi! I’m Kristin, and I am a wife and mother of 2 young boys (ages 5 and 2). I first fell in love with Disney when my mom took me when I was a child. After that I proceeded to go to WDW for my senior trip with my friends, and I completed a year in the Disney College Program (working in merchandise at Mickey’s of Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios). I shared my love of Disney with my now husband and sucked him in. We vacationed at Walt Disney World 2-3 times per year. We decided that what maked more sense was just moving to Orlando so that we could live the Disney life and be here for all of our favorite events and seasons every year. That is exactly what we did! Now we are at the parks a couple times a week and go for most events and major holidays. We can’t get enough and get to experience Disney in a whole different way.
