A Spooktacular Review of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
11 – Crashing the Party Early:
MNSSHP begins at 7:00pm, but Magic Kingdom allows special ticketed event guests to enter the park at 4pm. So, obviously, we take advantage of those extra hours before the party officially begins! Party guests enter through specific MNSSHP gates where a Halloween attired Cast Member gives you a special wristband they place on your arm. This year we had candy corn on our cute wristband! Plan to keep this wristband visible. One year we had on jackets and we were asked to show our bands regularly. Just make it easier and have it already visible for Cast Members. Don’t forget to grab a special MNSSHP park map which will give you the run-down of where everything is located. Note: If you enter Magic Kingdom before 4:00 pm, you will need to stop at one of the many Wristband Distribution areas throughout the park to get your wristband. You do not need to exit and re-enter the park to receive yours. Cast Members will scan your Party tickets so you can receive your party wristband.
Once in the park, we were directed to the right on the parallel, backstage road behind Main Street, U.S.A. Here you will receive a treat bag and your very first treats. Cast Members drop loads of candy in your bag right from the get go. If you have an allergy, be sure to ask for a teal bag. We have one Gluten allergy in our family and he always asks for a teal bag and receives a treat token at each treat stop which is to be turned into allergy specific treats at the Liberty Square Allergy Friendly Center. Keep in mind, you don’t have to use their treat bag. It’s rather small for the amount of candy they provide and our kiddos like to carry their own fun trick-or-treat style bag.
